NOW AVAILABLE!  "Cambria Somerset Authority, Archived Photos, 1909-1970"

The Cambria Somerset Authority (CSA) was formed when Commissioners of both Cambria and Somerset Counties combined resources to acquire the assets of the Manufacturers Water Co. in 1999.  A large group of old photographs which documented the construction of the Quemahoning Dam, twelve (12) miles of 66" pipeline installation, reconstruction of the 1960s [when the breast of the dam was modified and raised approximately seven (7) feet], and other photos taken over the years were included as part of the acquisition.  We have recently completed our task of sorting, documenting, and creating a digital (.jpg) file of the photographs.

Copies of this disk are now available to the public and can be purchased from CSA directly.            To obtain a copy of this disk, send a check for $15.00 to:

(Please make check payable to "CSA")
